Introduction to Traditional Genres in Perfumery


Sunday, June 11, 2017, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

A fun, entry-level class for those who want to explore the composition of traditional genres in perfumery. Classes are held in Seattle and are open to men and women of all ages. $45 per person covers everything. 

This class is a great introduction to the art of perfume-making even if you have no prior experience, and a chance to increase your knowledge and refine your skills if you already have some experience. You will be given instruction in the history, theory and composition of basic perfume genres, instruction in techniques and properties of different types of materials, exercises in formulating, supervision as you work, and one-on-one help as needed. All supplies and materials will be provided, along with a finished product to take home. This is part of a series of classes offered to the public four times a year. The next class will be on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 1::00 PM-4:00 PM. After you sign up you will receive a complete set of information and directions to the venue.
